Many lawyers initially entering the practice of law honestly don’t know how things work in the "real world.” Law school teaches you how to think like a lawyer, but many times students graduate without ever having entered a courtroom, much less the court clerk’s office. Most law firms just don’t have the time for a true "mentor” program having seasoned lawyers "walk hand in hand” with "green” lawyers, forcing them to hit the streets running. And if newly minted lawyers graduate without jobs and put out a shingle on his or her own, trial and error can be just plain dangerous to their future and their clients.

We have created a "one day” program to get lawyers started off on the right foot and get a taste of what it’s like – where to go, who to talk to, and generally what to do. We are bringing in the cop on the beat, City Attorney, Commonwealth’s Attorneys, Sheriffs, Magistrates, Court Clerks, Lawyers and Judges to give you an honest "heads up” on practical lawyering.
